Winter With Basho and Vivaldi

Sunday, January 27, 2019

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.    — Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Winter Haiku

Winter solitude

in a world of one color

the sound of wind.

Hello! Light the fire!

I'll bring inside

a lovely bright ball of snow.

When the winter chrysanthemums go,

there's nothing to write about

but radishes.

~Basho

Stay warm.
